Vintage French Match Striker
A vintage French white ceramic match striker or pyrogene, with some original matches from the 1930s.
Made of white stoneware, this match striker has a hole in the middle for holding matches, which can be lit by striking them against the ridges on the side. Spent matches can then be stored in the bowl underneath.
The match striker comes with some original matches inside it, as well as some more matches in their original box from the G. H. Fischer Söhne company in Fehraltorf in Kanton Zürich.
